About Us

Our Team

Emma has had an undying passion for animals since childhood. She works with different rescuers in the United States, including Kelly Blankenship with Second Chance Rescue in Owingsville Kentucky and Pets Alive Laredo in Laredo, Texas.

Our History

In 2015, Emma adopted 2 dogs, Murphy and Joey, from Alabama. Their unconditional love and gratitude was a testament of just how deserving homeless dogs are. Emma knew that rescuing only Murphy and Joey wasn't enough, and that's when Homebound Houndz was born.

Our Mission

We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. Our ultimate mission is to find homes for as many dogs in need as we possibly can.
